How to Responsibly Dispose of Southern Design Group Packaging 

The packaging of our products typically consists of an outer cardboard box with internal protective components to ensure your product is received in the best possible condition. Outer packaging is made using recycled cardboard and may include compostable packing peanuts. There may also be paper installation manuals or drill templates, as well as plastic bags to protect and contain smaller items such as screws. 

Please remove any labels, compact the box down and place in your recycling bin. Plastic bags should be returned to a retailer or other drop-off site that provides a soft plastics recycling bin. Please check with your local council or authority to find out where soft plastics can be recycled in your area. 

For compostable mailers, to ensure they break down properly, please remove all labels before disposal. Once labels are removed, the compostable mailers can be placed directly into your council’s organic waste (green) bin, where they will naturally decompose alongside food scraps and garden waste.
